How to create (or edit) a Group/Stable

Within Equilab, any user can create a public or private group where their teammates, friends, or others can connect to coordinate, manage horses, share photos or advice, etc. You can join any existing group, or create one by following the steps outlined below.

Creating a Group/Stable

1. Navigate to the Home screen within the Equilab app
2. On the header bar at the top of the screen, tap on Groups (on the right)
3. Press the option to Create a group or stable
4. Enter the required information - such as the type of group, location, and privacy
   • Note: turning on the option to make the group "Private" means that any user will be able to see that the group exists, but only users who are invited to the group (or who's requests to join the group are approved by the group's creator) will be able to join
5. Tap Save in the top right of the screen
6. Invite others to the group by sharing the invitation link

Editing a Group/Stable

Only the user who created a group will be able to edit its settings. The creator is designated by the gold crown symbol on the list of the group's members. To edit the group, they can tap into it (from their the Home screen or from their Profile tab), then press on the 3 dots in the top right corner and choosing "Edit".
